The Air Rescue Museum
The Air Rescue Museum is a private, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to educate the public regarding the history of, and contributions to our nation and the world by, the United States Air Force Air Rescue Service.
Our objectives and our activities focus in two main areas:
- Collection, restoration, and exhibition of aircraft, equipment, and other items of interest associated with the USAF Air Rescue Service. Our HU-16 Albatross is under restoration to become a flying museum.
- Collection of motion picture material, usually after conversion to DVD or VHS media, for distribution of copies to the public. See our STORE for DVD's and publications we currently offer.
